In the spring
of 2007 Jerome was asked to produce a series of recording sessions for
one of the talented, long time participants at the International Meditation
Institute : Anabel Littledale (aka Vidyaatma) well known
in London for her work in musical theatre (Hair the musical), stage and
television. Working with her pre-recorded guitar and vocal tracks, he
has overdubbed guitar, percussion, keyboard, penny whistle and mandolin,
as well as creating soundscapes and delicate arrangements for the harmony
vocals, flute and a few other performers.

The result is
this beautiful CD of 12 inspirational songs, original and traditional,
that reflect the profound teachings and philosophy of IMI founder Swami
Shyam.

There, the Science Fiction Musical. Written, Produced, Directed,
and Recorded by Jerome Jarvis. Created in 1984 at the electro-acoustic recording facility of Simon Fraser University for presentation at the S.F.U Centre for the Arts. A musical theatre piece set inside a space station in another solar system, wherein the subjects of an experiment in extraterrestrial colonization come to grips with their alienation from the natural environment and a pre-programmed intelligent computer which directs their every move inside their protective habitat. |
